WOLVES DOMINATE FIRST ROUND AT STATE


The Wolves did on Wednesday night what they have done so many times. Dominated their opponent. The #2 seeded Wolves played #7 seed Ansley-Litchfield in the Boy's Class D1 State Tournament and won by a final score of 72-35.


The Wolves took no time getting rolling as Hayden Kramer scored 12 points in the period and they led 17-6 after the first eight minutes. In the second quarter, MHC just kept rolling as they scored 20 points to the Spartan's eight and Ansley-Litchfield trailed 37-16 at halftime.


In the third period, Ansley-Litchfield found some success on offense as they scores 12, but again the Wolves were tough, putting up 17 points. The Wolves went into the final quarter leading 57-28.


MHC again controlled the final quarter outscoring the Spartans 18-7 to close out the game. According to the score tracker on MaxPreps, Hayden Kramer had 28 points to lead the Wolves.


The Wolves move on to play Friday at 10:45 A.M. versus #3 seeded Johnson-Brock at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
