CLASSES C&D COMPETE AT THE 2023 NSAA STATE TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

In the Girl’s Class D 100-meter dash prelims , JoLie Farr from Cambridge ran a time of 12.97 and Kiley Hejtmanek of MHC ran a time of 13.0.


In the Boy’s Class D 100-meter dash prelims, Hunter Cunningham of Southwest ran a time of 11.73 and Grayson Koller of Arapahoe ran a time of 11.82.


In the Girl’s Class D 100-hurdle prelims, Kendyl Flaming of Wallace qualified for finals with a time of 16.04. Anastasia Gallegos of Southwest ran a time of 16.53.

In the Boy’s Class D 110-meter hurdles prelims, Keegan Shuler of Hitchcock County qualified for finals with a time of 16.41. Kevin Garcia Guzman of DCS ran a time of 16.85.


In the Girl’s Class D 200-meter dash prelims, Clara Spargo qualified for finals by finishing 1st in her heat with a time of 26.31. Kiley Hejtmanek of MHC qualifies for finals with a time of 26.84. JoLie Farr of Cambridge ran a time of 27.42 and Kylie Rose of Medicine Valley ran a time of 27.48.


In the Boy’s Class D 200-meter dash prelims, Drew Scott of Hitchcock County ran a time of 23.60 and Will Cacy of Arapahoe ran a time of 25.04.

In the Girl’s Class C 200-meter dash prelims, Adi Hunt of Southern Valley just missed finals and ran a time of 26.58.


In the Girl’s Class D 300-meter hurdle prelims, Kendyl Flaming of Wallace ran 49.04 and Stella Heapy of Medicine Valley ran 50.96.


In the Boy’s Class D 300-meter hurdle prelims, Coleman Langford of Bertrand ran a time of 44.44.


In the Boy’s Class C 300-meter hurdle prelims, Mitchel Wilson of Southern Valley ran a time of 43.71.

In the Girl’s Class D 400-meter dash prelims, Kiley Hejtmanek of MHC qualifies for finals with the fastest time of 60.23. Rachel Harris of Cambridge ran a time of 63.09 and Blayklee Farr of MHC ran a time of 64.69.


In the Boy’s Class D 400-meter dash prelims, Will Cacy of Arapahoe qualified for finals with a time of 51.76. Ethan Latta of DCS ran a time of 54.84.


In the Girl’s Class D 3200-meter run, Ashley Robertson of Wallace placed 9th with a time of 12:57.50 and Dajana Garrison of Wallace placed 11th with a time of 13:10.85.


In the Boy’s Class D 3200-meter run, Trey Robertson was crowned the State Champion with a time of 9:59.00, Carson Trompke of Cambridge was crowned the State Runner-up with a time of 10:16.99, Marcus Hernandez of Bertrand placed 4th by 0.03 seconds with a time of 10:26.73, and Kaden Weaver of Medicine Valley placed 11th with a time of 10:48.81.


In the Girl’s Class D 4x800-meter relay, MHC placed 4th with a time of 10:18.31 (Ashlin Broz, Karissa Stengel, Ava Hardin, Reagan Stengel), Cambridge placed 6th with a time of 10:27.30 (Rachel Harris, Breelle Miller, Jalen Kent, Brenna Deterding), Wallace placed 10th with a time of 10:41.92 (Kaley Sauser, Ashley Robertson, Reagan Pelster, Ryleigh Hanson), and Paxton placed 13th with a time of 10:49.11 (Marlee Gleason, Ainsley McConnell, Jaleigh Hansen, Jacelyn Jorgensen).




In the Boy’s Class D 4x800-meter relay, Southwest placed 11th with a time of 8:57.35 (Austin Thompson, Nathan Rippe, Mitchel Stritt, Cole Barnett), Cambridge placed 12th with a time of 9:01.28 (Ben Hoberty, Wyatt Jackson, Gavin Gunderson, Carson Trompke), and Paxton placed 15th with a time of 9:11.38 (Jasper Brewster, Noah Connick, Tanner Hebblethwaite, Rylin Johns).


In the Girl’s Class D pole vault, Shelby Schoene of Bertrand placed 9th with a vault of 8’6” and Aislin Kidder of Bertrand didn’t clear opening height.

In the Girl’s Class D discus, GraCee Goings of Wauneta-Palisade placed 4th with a toss of 124’6”. Jacelyn Jorgensen of Paxton placed 15th with a toss 109’3” and Audrey Holm of Paxton placed 16th with a toss of 108’1”.

In Boy’s Class C high jump, Peyton Herrick of Alma placed 6th with a jump of 6’4”.


In Boy’s Class D triple jump, Eric Wood of Bertrand placed 21st with a jump of 38’3” and Keynan Gaston of Hitchcock County placed 22nd with a jump of 38’1.5”.

In the Boy’s Class D high jump, Ethan Latta of DCS was crowned the State Runner-up with a jump of 6’4”.


In the Girl's Class D long jump, Jalen Kent of Cambridge placed 16th with a jump of 15'5" and Blayklee Farr of MHC placed 20th with a jump of 14'8".


In the Boy's Class C triple jump, Tucker Biskup of Alma placed 11th with a jump of 42'4".


In the Boy's Class D shot put, Keegan Shuler of Hitchcock County was crowned the State Champion with a throw of 56'0.75". Easton Finch of Paxton placed 16th with a throw of 43'3" and Sammy Fasso of DCS was unable to make a mark today.


In the Girl's Class C pole vault, Adi Hunt of Southern Valley was in a 3-way tie for 14th with a vault of 8'6".
